S-1501 Ultra is designed for better cap embroidery and detailed work. S-1501 Plus is best for extra-large designs, while S-1502HC is made for repeat and batch orders.

For most common flat and cap embroidery projects, no. The machine includes standard flat embroidery frames, a cap embroidery kit, and a starter kit to help you begin.
